Hose Clamps and Hose Clips

Hose clips and clamps must secure and protect hoses over time in harsh conditions, and are typically made out of plastic or metal. Waytek carries standard metal, high strength, and plastic hose clamps for any application.

Our standard metal hose clamps have a closure that remains in place when tightened and easily reopens with lateral effort. While they are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate different hoses, tubings, and fittings, they are ½” wide and are manufactured either with a stainless steel band and housing with a plated steel screw or entirely out of stainless steel including the screw. The 100% stainless steel hose clamp is used in highly corrosive areas. Our high strength clamps also sport an all stainless steel construction, but provides twice the strength of the standard model.

Our plastic hose clamps are actually constructed out of glass-filled black nylon and easily reopen with lateral effort. They are adjustable and allow application after the hose is connected. Its greatest advantage is that it's designed to secure hoses without damaging them. Because of this, the hose is entirely secure but never crushed or distorted. Furthermore, its solid body design prevents hose extrusion that can occur with gear type clamps and its clamp locator ring prevents it from vibrating over the hose’s surface. While it is available in a variety of sizes and its slim profile makes it ideal for use in tight spaces, there are still times when a high strength or metal clamp is preferable.
