Mainly found in diesel powered engines, Waytek’s DC power contactor relays are made by White Rodgers, Gigavac, and Trombetta.
Waytek carries contactors in 3, 4 or 6 terminals, with single pole, normally open (SPNO) or single pole double throw (SPDT) pole forms. DC electrical contactors come in two different mounting methods; one which can be mounted with coil terminals up or horizontal, and the second can be mounted in a vertical plane with coil terminals up. These electrical contactors are hi-amp rated switching devices, with ratings up to 800 amps open inrush.
Waytek’s contactors come in isolated or grounded coil styles, meaning that isolated contactors have studs that are electrically isolated from the housing. Grounded contactors have one of the studs internally connected to the housing.
