Service Cord
Service cord from Waytek Wire is available in SJOOW and SOOW cord styles. How do you decide which style you need? SJOOW cord is rated for 300 volts, while SOOW cord is rated 600 volts. The "J" in SJOOW means "Junior", to designate its lower voltage rating.
Both types of service cord are resistant to abrasion, ozone, sunlight, chemicals, oil and have been approved for submersion in water. Waytek Wire service cords are MSHA approved and UL/CSA horizontal flame tested. They also have the cable identification, wire gauge and number of conductors printed on the outer jacket. Service cord from Waytek can be paired withĀ NEMA power plugsĀ to provide additional shock protection, orĀ Delphi Weather-Pack connectorsĀ to protect against environmental factors.
