AHD Connectors, Deutsch HD Connectors, and More
Amphenol AHD connectors are a rugged connection system interchangeable with Deutsch HD connectors. They are offered in smooth diagnostic grade housings for controlled applications and sealed military style housings with a silicone elastomer seal for extra demanding applications.
Amphenol AHD series terminal connectors were developed in response to the overwhelming need for an economic alternative to today’s existing diagnostic product options, and due to the inability to get consistent Deutsch HD connector stock. Designed specifically as a cost-conscious, reliable alternative, intermateable with Deutsch HD connectors, the AHD Series™ is ideal for any situation where either controlled and/or uncontrolled environmental conditions exist.
AHD Amphenol 6-pin and 9-pin connectors come in two different connector body styles. A smooth, non-sealing connector body option for controlled applications, or an environmentally sealed, threaded option for more demanding applications. Amphenol AHD Connectors have integrated alignment keys with tactile verification for blind mating and easy installation, which reduces labor costs.

Looking for a more rugged alternative to AHD connectors, Delphis harsh environment connectors are your answer, and with no lead or wait time your HES connectors are in stock and ready to ship today. Because HES connectors typically pass through a vehicle’s sheet metal, we recommend inserting strain relief connectors on those wires to help prevent them from rubbing against the sharp metal.
